What I'm Working On

I know, you are trying to read an exciting, well-written, frequently-updated blog here and I'm messing up your groove by not posting as often as I could should.  Sorry.

You'll forgive me, I'm sure, as I'm working hard to ensure that everything is ready for my battalion's return from Iraq.  While it isn't taking up all my time, it does require quite a bit of focus throughout the day and when I get home my brain is generally mush.  Not conducive to writing blog posts in the witty, inspiring way you've come to expect from JACK ARMY... that is what you expect, right?

Well, regardless, I'm stewing on a few things that will turn into results on this here blog doohickey.  Such as a review of the book Shadow of the Sword by Jeremiah Workman (previously reviewed on Blackfive) and I'll have a contest to give away Workman's book; I have a couple of ideas that I'm cogitating on for my "Army Advice" category (first post here); I have some stories to share from a Vietnam Vet that I met today; and much, much more.

Now that you are sufficiently on pins and needles with the anticipation eating holes in your stomach lining,

So...are you no longer blogging?...just bein an antagonist here. I see your posts on FB brother...you need to keep up here at least once a week...even to say you're not going to be blogging...LOL

I know you're busy. But if noone else is gonna push ya, I will. You have alot to offer us here in the blogosphere. And you voice is sorely missed.
